Recipes with Ham: this week’s recipe : tartlet of mushrooms and ham

This week we present you a recipe very similar to last week's one, so that you can practice with the puff pastry. It is really tasty. Ingredients for 4 people.  Estimated time for preparation: 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

 

-              Puff pastry tartlets

-              2 kg. of mushrooms.

-              2 chopped chalotes or sweet onions.

-              100 gr. of flour

-              150 gr. butter

-              Salt

-              750 gr of cream( half liquid, half dense)

-              3 cloves of garlic

-              2 glasses of wine

-              Iberico Bellota Ham slices

 

Preparation:

Chop in little cubes the onion or chalote, and the mushrooms. Be aware that the size you cut the mushrooms will be equal to the pieces you will find when you eat it.

 

Put a pan with some butter on to the heat (medium, so it can melt). When this happens add the onion and then the mushrooms to fry them until there's no liquid left. When this happens, add the glasses of white wine. A big cloud of smoke will appear, do not be afraid.

 

At the same time, chop the garlic and add it to the mix with the two kinds of cream and flour. Add Salt to taste. Then, continue stirring the mix over a low heat.

 

Prepare the puff pastry over a baking tin and add the mix. Put the puff pastry in the oven and when you take it out, we decorate it with an Iberico bellota ham slice.
