Juan Pedro Domecq at Selfridges

This weekend we were at Selfridges, London, to give a taste of our products, essence of Iberian Ham.

The tasting was very animated as there were enough people present, tasting and learning more about the properties of Iberian Ham.

We started giving a little talk about the properties of Iberian Ham fed with acorns -Bellota- and particularities of Juan Pedro Domecq Iberian Ham, the care we put throughout the process, from breeding to the slicing of the final product that allows us to obtain excellent qualities.

We explain the different parts of Ham: Maza, Punta and Babilla. Taste, color, texture and smell change depending on the part we eat.

Another key is who slice the product, it is important that the Iberian Ham will be cut by a professional called "Cortador".
